About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Delivery Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers, pick up customer returns, and support warehouse operations as needed. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime possible. The role requires a valid Class A or Class B CDL, flatbed operator experience, and compliance with DOT standards and company safety procedures. Drivers must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and use basic technology, including iPads. Pre-employment drug and background screening is required.

Requirements

Hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have flatbed operator experience.
Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Have strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience is preferred.
A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the materials.
Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Follow safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment and wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.
