About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver to make ground and rooftop deliveries while ensuring each delivery is completed safely from departure at the facility through completion at the job site. The role includes interacting professionally with customers, following delivery schedules and job directives, documenting deliveries, checking and securing loads, and completing required logs and government paperwork. Drivers may also perform warehouse duties, including loading and unloading materials. This position does not require over-the-road travel, and drivers are home every night.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Must complete pre-employment and random drug screens.

• Drywall and/or boom truck experience.
• Semi tractor and trailer experience.
• Trailer-mounted forklift experience.
• Crane certification.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site delivery.
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and follow job directives precisely.
• Document each step of deliveries by taking and uploading photos using the company camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough truck load check before leaving the branch, ensuring delivery materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler on where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse.
