About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and regulations as well as AmeriGas safety and operating policies, and consistently wear required personal protective equipment. Shifts may vary from 8 to 12 hours depending on business needs. The position is described as seasonal, with a $4-per-hour premium bringing the stated pay to $28 per hour. The role requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform daily work safely while adhering to federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
