About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Seasonal Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves safely operating a propane delivery truck on provided routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives must follow federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations policies, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Shifts may run 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating needs.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily functions safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
