About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Seasonal Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor-fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while following applicable safety regulations and company policies. Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating business needs. The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Acceptable driving record.
Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check; employees may also be subject to substance abuse testing under company policies.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
Perform daily functions safely, adhering to federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
