About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives follow applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations procedures, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Depending on changing business needs, shifts may be 8 to 12 hours. The position is described as home every day.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Acceptable driving record.
Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
Perform daily functions safely while following federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
