Delivery Representative
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representatives to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas safety and operations policies and procedures. Work may involve 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs, and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily functions safely in compliance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
