About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representatives to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role operates a propane delivery truck on assigned routes, fills bulk tanks, and delivers propane cylinders. Representatives must follow federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operating policies, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Work may involve 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs, and employees must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The position pays $26.50 per hour plus a $4.00 per hour premium for work as a Seasonal Associate, for a stated hourly rate of $30.50. The posting also describes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and potential performance-based bonus or sales commissions, depending on the position.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform daily functions safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
