About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Representatives follow federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations procedures, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Depending on business needs, shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours. The position is based at a local delivery location and includes being home every day.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Acceptable driving record.
Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
Perform daily work safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
