Delivery Representative
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representatives to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while following applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operating procedures. Representatives use required personal protective equipment and may work 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs. The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Willingness to work 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily duties safely and comply with federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
