About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas safety and operations policies and procedures, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating business needs. The position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting up to 70 pounds. Pay is $29.00 per hour, with possible eligibility for performance-based bonuses or sales commissions depending on the position. Applications are accepted until November 30, 2026.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Willingness to work shifts of 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating needs.
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check; if hired, subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform daily functions safely in compliance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
