About The Position

The Delivery Expert checks products for accuracy against quality standards and delivers them to customers safely, courteously, and on time while working as part of a team. The role also supports restaurant operations by performing other workstation duties, complying with Domino’s uniform, appearance, and operating standards, and following applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. Responsibilities include preparing a vehicle before delivery, learning the delivery area, checking orders, following delivery procedures, providing positive and professional customer service in person and by phone, delivering flyers and door hangers, and delivering pizza to customers’ homes. The position also involves processing telephone orders, handling confidential customer information responsibly, executing credit transactions and bank deposits as needed, assisting other workstations, completing closing duties and cleaning, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and completing related paperwork. Team members may also prepare products and ingredients, take orders, operate and clean equipment, and perform other assigned duties. The work combines in-store tasks and driving deliveries in a designated area. It requires navigation and customer interaction at homes, safe vehicle operation, and the ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, reaching, bending, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder. Work conditions may include adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state where employed, an acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory vehicle.
Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
Must be cross-trained and able to perform other restaurant workstation duties as needed.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Ability to handle confidential customer information responsibly.
Ability to perform the described physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, reaching, bending, and navigating stairs or ladders as needed.
