About The Position

The Delivery Expert checks products against quality standards and delivers them to customers safely, courteously, and promptly as part of a team. The role also supports restaurant operations by performing other workstation duties and follows Domino’s uniform, appearance, and operating standards, as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. Responsibilities include preparing the vehicle before deliveries, learning the delivery area, verifying order quality and accuracy, following delivery procedures, providing professional customer service in person and by phone, and distributing flyers and door hangers. The role also includes delivering pizzas to customers’ homes, processing telephone orders, handling confidential customer information, completing credit transactions and bank deposits as needed, and assisting with food preparation, stocking, inventory, cleaning, and closing duties. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with split pay rates for in-store and on-the-road work. The position requires safely operating a motor vehicle and working scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies. It has substantial physical demands and may involve adverse weather, temperature changes, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving equipment, and other conditions described in the posting.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory vehicle.
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings while carrying products.
Ability to perform arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to handle confidential customer information responsibly and interact safely with customers at their homes.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands described in the posting, including lifting and moving cases weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying products during deliveries.
Ability to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
Must be cross-trained and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed.
