About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza and other products by car to customers within a designated delivery area, bringing orders to the customer's door. The role also includes delivering flyers and door hangers. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position involves customer service, order processing, driving, and working in varied store and outdoor conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
• Be able to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and bring them to the customer's door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
