About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products within a designated area while also performing general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. Store duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves interacting with customers and coworkers, using order-entry systems, and navigating delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The position involves standing for most tasks, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, occasional sitting for paperwork, and physical activities such as lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching. Work environments include varying temperatures, hot surfaces and tools, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and sometimes adverse weather.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical demands described, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying products during deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries, using a hand truck as needed.
