About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated area and perform general store team-member duties. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Team members operate equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. Delivery duties include transporting orders by car to customers’ doors and delivering flyers and door hangers. The role involves working in store areas with varied temperatures and conditions, handling food and supplies, and interacting with customers and coworkers. The job requires standing for most tasks, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and performing physical activities such as lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing. Delivery routes may include stairs and adverse terrain. Team members may encounter changing weather, hot equipment and surfaces, sharp edges, moving parts, food odors, and cornmeal dust.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
Have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, bending, reaching, crouching, climbing, and driving.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and take orders to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to customer addresses, including locations with adverse terrain or multiple flights of stairs.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
