About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders to customers and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for advancement, including into management. Orientation and training are provided on the job. In addition to driving within a designated delivery area, team members may operate store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, take and process orders, complete inventory paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication and may include working in varying temperatures, around hot surfaces and equipment, sharp edges, food odors, cornmeal dust, and adverse weather. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying items, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing stairs. Delivery personnel may make several deliveries per shift and may need to navigate multi-story buildings and other challenging delivery sites.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have the motor coordination to make precise, rapid, and accurate movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Carry out repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Meet the role’s physical requirements, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, crouching, climbing, and driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
