About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The position also includes delivering flyers and door hangers, assisting with general store-team duties, and working with customers and coworkers to process orders. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement opportunities, including management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Ability to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area, including carrying orders from the vehicle to customer locations.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Use navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings.
