About The Position
Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential progression to management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers within a designated area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, navigating delivery locations, and completing physical tasks in a range of indoor and outdoor conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and over the phone.
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Must have motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements and the ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
- Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
- Must be able to carry deliveries while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs when required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and to their doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage areas, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate delivery locations, including multi-story buildings, private homes, stairs, and other delivery sites.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage or work areas.
