About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to driving and completing deliveries, team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The job involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, cash handling, and navigating delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Work takes place in a pizza store and on delivery routes. Conditions may include varying weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot equipment and surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The job requires standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, bending, occasional crouching or squatting, and sometimes climbing stairs or a ladder. Delivery personnel may need to carry products while walking and climbing.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Be able to make correct monetary change.
Have motor coordination to make rapid, accurate movements and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to meet the physical demands described, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and bring them to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate routes, addresses, private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites.
Perform general team-member tasks, including order entry and handling monetary change.
