About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and helps with in-store tasks when not making deliveries. Domino’s provides training covering deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store duties. The role involves customer service, working with the store team, and performing varied tasks in a fast-paced environment. Team members may make several deliveries per shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Talking and hearing on the telephone, and near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
• Depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Assist with in-store tasks, including making pizza and other duties as needed.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
• Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
