About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated area and assist with general store team duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Delivery Experts use a car to deliver products to customers and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They help operate equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, take and process telephone orders, complete inventory and paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility.

The work involves standing and walking for much of the shift, carrying products during deliveries, and completing store tasks that may involve lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, crouching, or climbing. Team members may encounter varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery routes may involve adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate the designated delivery area and adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to carry products during delivery and complete required walking and climbing duties.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, crouching, and occasional climbing.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and carry orders to the customer’s door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, including communicating with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate delivery routes, addresses, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings.
