About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while providing friendly customer service and representing the store positively. The role combines driving with in-store work, including taking and processing orders, preparing food, stocking supplies, and keeping the store clean. Team members are expected to drive safely, know the delivery area, handle payments accurately, and use store-issued equipment properly. The position offers training and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record and a clean, reliable, safe vehicle.
Exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members by phone and in person.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, with near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to lift and move deliveries and supplies, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds; carry and stack ingredients and trays; push loaded tray dollies; bend and reach; and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers; greet customers promptly.
Drive safely and courteously, obey traffic laws, and know the delivery area and maps.
Take and process orders over the phone and in person.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile payments, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Assist with keeping the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, and properly store issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload bulk product deliveries and move supplies and ingredients as needed.
