About The Position
Walden Security is hiring a Security Officer in Leland, North Carolina. Security Officers protect clients’ industrial and commercial properties against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Client properties include office buildings, residential properties, distilleries, financial institutions, telecommunications and manufacturing facilities, hospitals, and other sites. This position involves driving golf-cart patrols, conducting foot patrols around a multi-use property including a parking garage, monitoring CCTV cameras, interacting with retail tenants and patrons, and writing detailed reports. Most of the work is outdoors. Advancement opportunities at the site may include site trainer, assistant site supervisor, and site supervisor. The company offers initial training toward a Security Officer Certification, flexible scheduling with multiple shifts available, and opportunities for career growth. The stated pay rate is $17.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Responsibilities
