About The Position
Walden Security is hiring a Security Officer in Leland, North Carolina, to protect client industrial or commercial property against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. The company serves a range of clients, including office buildings, residential properties, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, financial institutions, and other organizations. The role involves driving golf-cart patrols, foot patrols around a multi-use property and parking garage, monitoring CCTV cameras, interacting with retail tenants and patrons, and writing detailed reports. Most of the work is outdoors. Advancement opportunities at the site may include site trainer, assistant site supervisor, and site supervisor. Training is provided, with the opportunity to earn a Security Officer Certification. Multiple shifts are available, including first, second, third, and weekend shifts. Pay is $17.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Responsibilities
- Protect client industrial or commercial property against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry.
- Conduct driving patrols using a golf cart.
- Conduct foot patrols around a multi-use property, including a parking garage.
- Monitor CCTV cameras.
