About The Position

The part-time Delivery Driver works at a retail paint store and drives a company vehicle over established routes to deliver products to clients and customers safely and efficiently. The role also provides customer service in the store and during deliveries, assists with counter sales, and helps prepare orders by mixing or tinting products and matching paint colors. Flexible scheduling is available. Store hours are 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Saturday; the store is closed Sundays.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Punctuality and dependability.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
High school diploma or comparable certification (GED).
Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, walk, reach overhead, grip, squat, lift, and carry products to and from delivery and customer vehicles, store areas, and possibly job delivery sites.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Prior experience in delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service.

Responsibilities

Deliver products safely and efficiently using a company vehicle.
Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Load and unload the delivery vehicle.
Prepare orders by mixing or tinting products to customer specifications.
Identify and match paint colors accurately.
Assist customers over the phone and in the store with orders and questions.
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain a cash drawer.
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with coworkers and managers to maintain a smooth workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
