About The Position

The Delivery Driver transports products to customers using a truck and, as needed, a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck. The role includes securing goods for transit, following a route manifest, documenting deliveries and payments, handling returned products and containers, and maintaining the assigned vehicle. The position works Tuesday through Friday on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule.

Requirements

• Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record and no SR22 insurance.
• Provide copies of CDL and DMV record before starting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer relations skills.

Nice To Haves

• Beverage delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure goods and products inside the truck or trailer to minimize damage during transit.
• Read and follow the routing manifest to deliver products using a truck, forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand truck.
• Record invoices, credits, and other route-manifest information accurately, following special delivery instructions.
• Maintain accurate route records and follow check-in procedures to verify invoice payments and returned products.
• Document customer receipt of products and any omissions or errors, and collect payment when appropriate.
• Collect or pick up empty containers, rejected products, or unsold merchandise.
• Obtain or provide customer signatures for pickups or deliveries.
• At the end of the route, check in and verify payments and returned products, pallets, or containers.
• Clean the assigned delivery vehicle and trailer, including sweeping, discarding trash, and washing inside windows.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, complete the relevant reports, and distribute them as directed.
• Suggest and implement ways to improve company and warehouse profits, quality, and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
