About The Position

McNabb Trucking, Inc. is hiring CDL Class A drivers for local routes in the Pocatello, Idaho area and regional routes between Pocatello and Ogden, Utah, approximately 120 miles. Drivers operate tractor-trailers pulling double trailers and safely pick up, transport, and deliver loads while following DOT regulations and company safety procedures.

Local CDL drivers are paid $17 per hour and typically work approximately 50–60 hours per week. Ogden route drivers are paid approximately $130 per load and typically complete two loads per day; they are paid per load rather than hourly. Overtime is not paid for these transportation and agricultural operations.

Travel to Pocatello may be covered depending on the candidate’s origin and travel cost. Out-of-state travel for the road test is decided case by case after the phone interview. Shared housing is available for single workers at $300 per month, typically with three to four people per apartment. Housing includes a bed, water, sewer, and electricity, but not Wi-Fi or TV. Family housing is limited and depends on property availability.

The hiring process includes an online application, phone interview, and in-person road test in Idaho. A DOT drug test and DOT physical exam are required.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to pull doubles.
• For Ogden routes, at least 2 years of CDL experience, as required by insurance.
• Local route candidates may be considered with less experience if they have a CDL and strong driving skills.
• Provide own work boots.
• Pass a DOT drug test and DOT physical exam.
• Complete an online application, phone interview, and in-person road test in Idaho.
