About The Position

Thermo King Northeast is hiring a full-time CDL Class A Driver in Saugus. The role includes picking up and delivering trucks, buses, products, and parts; completing delivery paperwork; checking orders; and performing warehouse and returns-processing duties when not making deliveries. The position requires safe, professional, and timely delivery service, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

The job involves physical activity, including occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds and spending extended periods bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, twisting, standing, walking, and working in and around vehicles. The employee must safely use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating manual transmissions and hauling trailers.
• Ability to read and understand maps and/or written directions.
• Good communication skills with company personnel at all levels, vendors, and customers.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work with numbers and track information.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver trucks and buses.
• Deliver products to customers safely, professionally, and on time.
• Complete delivery logs and paperwork.
• Verify that parts orders match the parts pulled for delivery.
• Perform warehouse duties during non-delivery times.
• Pick up and process returned parts and cores from customers daily.
