About The Position

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver roofing and building products to job sites. Drivers safely follow efficient routes while complying with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. They assist with loading and securing materials, then help unload them using a crane, conveyor, piggybacks, or by hand. Drivers represent the company on job sites and may lead, instruct, and supervise others. The position includes a competitive sign-on bonus and drivers are home every night. Pay is based on experience.

Requirements

Have a valid state CDL Class A or B driver's license and a clear MVR and DOT record.
Be at least 21 years old.
Have a current and valid Medical Certification Card.
Have held a CDL driving position in the previous year with consecutive driving experience.
Have a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in controlling the vehicle.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to work indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
Be able to bend, reach, lift, and climb.
Be able and willing to climb onto a rooftop to ensure proper stacking where required by location.
Be able to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods.
Be able to climb a 40-foot ladder where required by location.
Pass a company-required drug screening and be subject to random drug testing under company policy.
Be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Previous material-handling experience.
Previous forklift experience.
Crane-operation certification.

Responsibilities
