About The Position

The CDL Driver represents Lansing Building Products and provides outstanding customer service while dividing time between deliveries and warehouse work. Drivers use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries and interact with customers and crews at job sites. The role also includes keeping the warehouse clean and orderly and may involve other duties such as cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales. The day usually begins around 7:00 AM, sometimes earlier, and ends at approximately 4:30 PM; hours may vary by location. Drivers are home every night, and weekend work is generally not required.

Requirements

• Hold a CDL B or CDL A license.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Have Moffett forklift experience.
• Be able to work independently with efficiency and focus, and contribute as part of a larger team.
• Be willing and able to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Have strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• Have at least one year of driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with building products.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

Responsibilities
