About The Position

The Warehouse Associate/Driver performs basic warehouse duties, including pulling, checking, and stocking inventory and operating a forklift, while making deliveries to new and existing customers in the electrical products market. The role is based in a warehouse setting and includes primarily local travel during the business day. The employee works Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week; occasional overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma.
• Class A CDL license.
• At least 2 years of delivery driving experience.
• At least 2 years of warehouse distribution experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Advanced driving skills and experience driving Ford F-450 pickup trucks without a gooseneck trailer, as well as Line-8 vehicles.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe, proper loading procedures.
• Good customer and client relations skills.
• Organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills, including under high-pressure conditions.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to new and existing customers.
• Routinely inspect truck equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation.
• Pull orders and verify loads against shipping papers.
• Obtain signed receipts for delivered material.
• Stock warehouse inventory.
• Perform material handler responsibilities when not driving.
• Complete additional assignments as needed by the supervisor.
