About The Position

Mondelēz International/Nabisco is hiring a Driver CDL in West Columbia, South Carolina. The driver delivers products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses, with an emphasis on safety and timely deliveries. The principal location is 102 Vantage Point Drive, West Columbia, South Carolina, and interstate driving accounts for 100% of the work. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, with routes starting at midnight. Routes are 10 to 12 hours, and the expected workweek is 40 to 45 hours; the schedule may change based on business demand. The hourly pay rate is $29.85, with eligibility for a Branch Incentive Plan (BIP) bonus.

Requirements

Meet all requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Final Rule regarding issuance and renewal of Commercial Driver's Licenses.
Hold a CDL-Class A license.
Have at least one year of proven safe driving experience, with no serious driving convictions.
Have a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access the military base facility served by this role.
Successfully pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check.
Complete FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
Meet DOT requirements for a 10-year driving history check.
Be familiar with OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
Have a basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
Be proficient using a smartphone and electronic logging device (ELD) to log positions and driving times.
Be able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
Have a customer-oriented attitude and provide excellent support to key customers.
Be flexible and able to adapt to changing routes and work schedules.
Be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Direct store delivery (DSD) experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses.
Follow procedures and conduct regular safety checks of equipment, including the tractor, trailer, and pallet jack.
Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
Perform duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch.
