About The Position

The Delivery Driver safely delivers customer orders and provides friendly, professional customer service. The role also supports in-store operations by taking orders, preparing food, cleaning, and restocking. No delivery experience is required; training is provided. Drivers deliver within a designated area, may make several deliveries per shift, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license held for at least 2 years.
• A motor vehicle record review must meet the company's insurance standards; it is conducted after a conditional job offer and with written permission.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle with current registration and required auto insurance that can be used for delivery.
• Ability to meet company driver eligibility requirements.
• Strong customer service skills and dependable attendance.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.
• Ability to perform the stated physical duties, including carrying pizzas and beverages, walking, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders promptly while following traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Verify orders before leaving the store.
• Provide friendly, professional service at each delivery.
• Process payments and handle cash accurately.
• Assist in the store with taking orders, preparing food, cleaning, and restocking.
• Follow food safety standards and company procedures.
• Deliver product by car and then to the customer's door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
