About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products directly to customers in the designated Independence, Louisiana delivery area. The role requires safe, timely, and professional service, efficient route navigation, accurate cash handling and recordkeeping, and proper care of the delivery vehicle. Drivers work independently while representing the organization positively and meeting quality and delivery-time standards. The work may involve carrying products up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and navigating varied terrain and weather. Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed, may be required.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle in good working condition for delivery purposes.
Ability to navigate using maps and GPS technology and locate addresses in designated delivery areas.
Strong directional skills for navigating multi-story buildings, private residences, and other delivery sites.
Excellent verbal and written customer communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately, including making correct change.
Ability to lift, carry, and transport products weighing up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and work in varying weather conditions.
Strong time-management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries.
