About The Position

Pine State Beverage is hiring a Class A CDL driver to operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on daily assigned routes from its Gardiner, Maine warehouse. The role is a hands-on, physical part of beverage distribution and includes representing the company while communicating with customers professionally. Drivers make accurate and timely deliveries, unload products, verify orders and obtain customer signatures, collect cash or checks, and place and rotate products at customer locations as needed. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, with no overnight routes; schedules may change during holiday weeks. Start times are between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., and drivers may return between noon and 3:00 p.m. or when the route is complete. Extended hours may be needed. The position is physically demanding and performed inside and outside in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service-related skills.
• Ability to perform continual lifting, lowering, and carrying, typically 50–75 pounds and sometimes up to 160 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding position inside and outside in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
