About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other customers. Drivers build relationships with customers while completing local routes and are home every day. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply. The position is based at 136 Neelytown Rd, Montgomery, NY. The schedule is a four-day workweek on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Shifts start between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. and continue until the route is complete. Drivers are paid using a component-based structure, including pay per day, mile, case, and stop. The stated annual pay range is $85,000 to over $100,000. The work includes unloading cases weighing up to 100 pounds and using a ramp and two-wheeler during the shift. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Class A CDL at hire.
Be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
Be able to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift.
Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
Have a clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
Be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.
