About The Position

A Domino’s Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and also helps in-store with tasks such as preparing pizzas and processing orders. The company provides full training. The role involves customer service, working independently on the road and as part of the store team, and may offer opportunities to progress from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record that meets company standards.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to drive, stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform the physical tasks described in the posting.
Ability to lift and unload cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push or pull loaded trays on dollies, carry supplies and dough trays, climb stairs or ladders infrequently, bend, crouch or squat occasionally, and reach continuously.
Ability to use hands continuously during the day; shaping pizza dough requires frequent, forceful use of forearms and wrists.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, perceive depth, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
Unload and store bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Perform other store and outside tasks, including removing trash, stocking, cleaning, and occasional maintenance.
