About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and assist with in-store tasks when not making deliveries. The role includes customer service, order handling, food preparation, stocking, equipment operation, inventory and paperwork, and cleaning. Team members receive training in deliveries, pizza making, and other store activities. The position offers potential career paths from delivery driving to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet, and stack them on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to carry items including 30-pound containers of pizza sauce and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
Ability to push or pull stacks of trays on a dolly, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform frequent reaching and continuous hand use.
Ability to occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder, bend, crouch, or squat.
Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces; depth perception; near- and mid-range vision; and ability to talk and hear on the telephone.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Unload and move bulk product deliveries, including cases of ingredients and supplies.
Perform occasional store tasks such as changing prices on signs, washing walls, and maintenance.
