About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers orders within a designated area and provides customer service. The role may suit people who enjoy a high-energy environment, interacting with people, and working independently. Flexible scheduling is available, and the position may offer opportunities for growth, including into management. The advertised average pay is $16–$24 per hour, including tips and mileage; actual averages vary based on location, shift, and number of deliveries. Pay is weekly, with tips and mileage paid daily.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record meeting company standards, and at least two years of driving history.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, use navigation apps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Customer service and service recovery skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; may use a calculator.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to operate a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to climb stairs or a ladder infrequently, bend, crouch or squat occasionally, reach continuously, and use hands continuously; shaping pizza dough requires frequent, forceful use of forearms and wrists.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using maps or navigation apps.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Prepare products as needed.
Receive and process telephone orders as needed.
Complete associated paperwork and clean designated items daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone, including service recovery.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and handle monetary transactions accurately.
Perform store-team tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, and maintenance when needed.
