About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated area and provide friendly customer service while working on the road and in the store. Drivers receive training and may assist with preparing pizzas, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role offers opportunities to develop within the company, including potential advancement into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries and proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with calculator use if needed.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and meet quality control standards.
• Ability to deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk short distances, reach continuously, and occasionally climb stairs or a ladder, crouch, squat, stoop, or bend.
• Ability to use hands continuously and frequently use forearms and wrists forcefully when shaping pizza dough.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
• Assist in-store with tasks such as making pizza and other team duties.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
