About The Position
Rainbow Pizza, a Domino's Pizza franchisee operating more than 60 locations across South Texas, is hiring Delivery Drivers. Drivers deliver hot, fresh orders and provide customer service. When not making deliveries, they assist in the store with customer service, food preparation, order assembly, cleaning, stocking, and general duties. The role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth and advancement. The vehicle is not provided. Drivers must use a vehicle for which they have valid auto insurance and are listed as an insured driver. The position involves working in a fast-paced store and making deliveries in varying weather conditions. Store work may involve exposure to coolers, hot surfaces, food odors, cornmeal dust, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing trays on dollies, and frequent reaching, bending, and hand use.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license and at least 2 years of licensed driving experience, or 1 year of licensed driving experience if 19 years of age or older; learner's permit time counts toward this requirement.
- Must have valid auto insurance and be listed as an insured driver on the policy.
- Must pass a criminal background check and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must provide own vehicle; a vehicle is not provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders safely, accurately, and on time.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Operate the Domino's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with food preparation and order assembly.
- Answer phones and take customer orders.
- Help with cleaning, stocking, and general store duties.
- Follow company safety and food quality standards.
