About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Experts for its Los Angeles County locations. Drivers deliver products to customers and also perform in-store work, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. The role is fast-paced and offers opportunities to grow within the company. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery drivers may earn $14–$25 or more per hour, including tips, and receive mileage reimbursement in addition to hourly pay and tips.

Requirements

Solid customer service skills.
Ability to work quickly and energetically while maintaining a positive attitude.
A USA driver’s license held for at least two years.
An excellent, safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to a safe, clean, reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
Acceptable employment and personal history; background checks are required.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain and delivery sites while carrying products.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, pull, bend, crouch, reach, and climb as described in the posting.
Ability to lift and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds and carry other supplies and food products.
Ability to work around varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Navigate to customer addresses and delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Unload and move product deliveries, including using a hand truck and stacking supplies on shelves.
