About The Position
Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver customer orders safely and promptly while providing friendly, professional customer service. Drivers verify orders before leaving the store, process payments and handle cash accurately, and deliver products by car and to customers’ doors. The role also includes delivering flyers and door hangers and assisting in the store with taking orders, preparing food, cleaning, and restocking. Drivers must follow traffic laws, safe driving practices, food safety standards, and company procedures. No delivery experience is required; training is provided. The listed pay is $15.92 per hour inside the store and $6.05 per hour on the road, plus tips and mileage. The work includes driving within a designated delivery area, traveling between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and carrying pizzas and beverages while walking or climbing. Drivers may need to navigate five or more flights of stairs, adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites. The role involves exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, and requires far and night vision for driving. Store duties involve frequent reaching and hand use, occasional crouching or squatting, and repeated forward bending. Requirements
- Valid driver's license held for at least 2 years.
- A motor vehicle record review that meets the company's insurance standards; the review is conducted after a conditional offer and with written permission.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle with current registration and required auto insurance.
- Ability to meet company driver eligibility requirements.
- Strong customer service skills and dependable attendance.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
