About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products safely and efficiently within a designated delivery area. Drivers use their own vehicles and receive adjustable mileage reimbursement to help cover fuel and other vehicle expenses. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily; hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Drivers typically average over $20 per hour when wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement are combined. Drivers can choose a flexible schedule, with short or long shifts and part-time or full-time hours available. The role uses delivery technology intended to support safe and efficient deliveries. Promotional opportunities may include Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager. This position is in a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee, which alone makes employment decisions and is the employee’s employer if hired.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, subject to review of a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history and a clean driving record.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
- Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
- Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
- Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including walking, carrying, climbing, driving, bending, reaching, and frequent hand use.
- Must have the vision and hearing abilities described for telephone use, in-store tasks, and driving, and be able to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pizzas, beverages, and other products to customers within the designated delivery area.
- Drive safely and make multiple deliveries during a shift as needed.
- Navigate to customer addresses using maps and other navigation skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow directives and quality control standards.
- Perform in-store tasks as needed, including assembling pizzas, stocking ingredients and shelves, cleaning, answering phones, and handling food and equipment.
- Work independently and cooperatively with others, including under stress and while performing repetitive tasks.
