About The Position

Domino’s franchise store is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products safely within a designated delivery area. Drivers use their own vehicles and receive mileage reimbursement intended to cover fuel and other vehicle-related expenses. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily; hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Drivers can choose flexible schedules, with short or long shifts and part-time or full-time hours available. The posting says drivers typically average over $20 per hour from wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement.

The role also involves in-store work and customer service. Drivers may travel between the store, their vehicle, and customer locations; carry pizzas and beverages; navigate stairs and adverse terrain; and perform various repetitive tasks. The store environment may include temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, compact work areas, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. This position is with an independently owned and operated franchisee, which is responsible for employment decisions and practices.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, subject to review of a Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
• Must have good navigation skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
• Must be able to follow directions, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including walking, carrying, climbing, driving, bending, reaching, and frequent hand tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely within the designated delivery area, using safe driving practices.
• Use a personal vehicle to make deliveries and navigate to customer addresses.
• Carry pizzas and beverages between the delivery vehicle and customer locations, including navigating stairs when required.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow directions and quality control standards.
• Perform in-store tasks as needed, including pizza assembly, stocking ingredients, cleaning, answering phones, and handling delivery tools and products.
• Work independently and cooperatively with others while meeting quality and service expectations.
