About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The role also includes general store team-member duties, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement into management and other roles.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
Far vision and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to shelves.
