About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers while supporting general store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and may provide opportunities for advancement into management or other positions. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. They must navigate within a designated delivery area, including private homes and multi-story buildings, and may make several deliveries per shift. Team members also perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves working in variable indoor temperatures and exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and sometimes adverse weather. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, and frequent reaching and hand use. Delivery duties require carrying pizzas and beverages while walking or climbing, and driving in conditions that may include nighttime travel.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate addresses and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking or climbing during deliveries.
