About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff stores in the local area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members perform general store duties such as preparing products, processing telephone orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs or a ladder, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Far vision and night vision for driving; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks; ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and handle delivery routes involving adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by telephone and in person.
Unload and move product deliveries using a hand truck, and carry, push, pull, or stock supplies as needed.
