The Delivery Driver safely delivers products or flyers within a designated delivery area, while providing timely, attentive customer service. Drivers may use their own insured, registered vehicle in proper working condition or ask about company vehicles available at some locations. When deliveries are not busy, drivers help with in-store tasks, including taking and processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, operating store equipment, and cleaning the facility. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including paths to management and other leadership positions. Training is paid and includes videos, coaching guides, quizzes, and on-the-job instruction. The position involves working in a pizza store and traveling between the store, delivery vehicle or e-bike, and customer locations. Work may include exposure to varying weather, temperature changes, cold and hot work areas, food and other odors, cornmeal dust, confined spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The work also involves standing and walking frequently, driving and sitting, carrying products, and navigating stairs or other challenging delivery terrain.
